Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing to the latest EC Directive 2004/104/EC or ECE Regulation 10 standards is carried out on any size of vehicle at Millbrook's open-air testing site. On this site we can easily accommodate vehicles beyond 20m in length.
Vehicles can be tested in any operational modes (eg. Engine Running [Immunity and emissions] or Ignition on [Emissions only]) and any development or back-to-back test can be easily accommodated. This includes testing both broadband & narrowband emissions along with full immunity testing using the BCI Method.
We also offer preferential access to EMC test chambers to compress testing timescales and speed up the development process.
Millbrook Chamber Testing for EMC Type Approvals is covered by VCA technical service status.
