We have over 30 years experience of performing exhaust emissions and fuel consumption test programmes for the fuel and lubricant industry. This ranges from track based fuel economy and driveability projects to chassis and engine dynamometer based laboratory tests.

More recently, we have been awarded ISO 17025 status for our engine test cells to enable us to perform industry standard tests for the Co-ordinating European Council for the Development of Performance Tests for Transportation Fuels. Three test cells are dedicated for this purpose and have the capability to run the following tests :

- CEC F-05-93 Inlet Valve Cleanliness in the MB M 102 E Engine (measurement of inlet valve deposits)

- CEC F-20-98 Deposit Forming Tendency on Intake Valves (measurement of inlet valve deposits) ,

- CEC F-16-96 Valve Sticking of Gasoline Fuels (using the VW boxer engine)

- CEC F-23-01 Procedure for Diesel Engine Injector Nozzle Coking Test. This test uses the Peugeot XUD-9 indirect injection engine.

- CEC F-98-08 Direct Injection, Common Rail Diesel Engine Nozzle Coking Test.. This test uses the Peugeot DW10 engine.
