Health and Safety Policy
Millbrook Proving Ground Limited commits to operating the business in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all applicable regulations made under the Act, so far as is reasonably practicable
Millbrook Proving Ground Limited believes that protecting the health, safety and welfare of each employee should be of utmost concern in the operation of its business.
The Board of Directors recognise its responsibilities and leadership role in this matter. We will ensure that Health and Safety receives the right level of priority in our daily business activities as well as in our longer term planning.
In particular the company will, so far as is reasonably practicable, provide and maintain:
• Plant, equipment and systems of work that are safe and without risk to health, safety and welfare;
• Safe arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transportation of articles and substances;
• Sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable employees to avoid hazards at work, and to contribute positively to the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others;
• A safe place of work and safe means of access and egress;
• A safe and healthy working environment;
• Adequate welfare facilities;
The Company shall routinely review its performance in the area of health and safety to ensure all reasonably practicable measures are being taken to protect its employees and others who may be affected by its undertakings.
The Company understands that the implementation of actions to help our employees realise a healthy, injury free environment is a leadership responsibility and shall provide the support and resources necessary, as its commitment to these goals and objectives.
