Engine Technology Centre
With more than 150 man-years of engine dynamometer experience, Millbrook's Engine Technology Centre (ETC), with 12 test cells with transient and eddy current dynamometers to 440kW, and one test cell with high-dynamic transient dynamometer for state of the art engine development, is well placed to meet your Powertrain test and development needs.
Vehicle Emissions Laboratory
The Millbrook Vehicle Emissions Laboratory is acknowledged as a class leader. Equipped with the latest generation analytical system and computer software that is both recognised world-wide and backed up by continual updates, the laboratory team can produce repeatable, traceable test results to any legislative requirements or customised test cycle.
Variable Temperature Emissions Chamber
The Variable Temperature Emissions Chamber (VTEC) is designed to meet all current and future sub-zero light duty emissions tests as well as a wide range of non regulated test work, including whole vehicle heavy duty emissions testing. Although primarily designed for emissions tests for both light and heavy duty vehicles, the facility can also undertake any test activities which require a controlled temperature between +50degC and -35degC. These tests include cold start engine performance, heater and demist test, hot fuel handling and air conditioning performance assessments.
Evaporative Loss Chamber (VTSHED)
Complimenting Millbrook's already impressive array of emissions testing facilities, the evaporative systems testing capabilities have undergone a huge investment to meet the demands of the Automotive Industry. Millbrook's VTSHED is built to meet the latest European and simulate the EPA and CARB requirements of diurnal evaporative emissions tests.
