Regulation 103 Approval of replacement Catalytic Converters

Manufacturers must act now to ensure compliance with Regulation 103 Type Approval. Regulation 103 is the new industry standard for the approval of replacement catalytic converters which is being implemented from 13th August 2009. This legislation is designed to improve air quality to help contribute to meeting EU targets and therefore delivering health and environmental benefits. Having been outlined and approved by the Department for Transport, the regulation will be enforced by the Vehicle Certification Agency.
