Our Apprenticeship

Are you ready to fast track your career? Our Apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to study up to HNC/HND level whilst gaining valuable work experience at our exciting vehicle test, validation and engineering facility. You will have real responsibility working on live projects with our first class Technicians and Engineers, coupled with day release at College studying towards your qualification. We have a number of Engineering and IT opportunities across the business for our 2017 Apprentice cohort, providing new starters with roles within Vehicle Test, Calibration and our main vehicle workshop (vehicle technicians) to name a few.

The support network for our Apprentices means that you will always have someone to help keep you on the right track; from work-based peers and management to our HR department and associated College – we all want you to succeed, and will provide the guidance that you need during your studies and to drive your future career at Millbrook.

Requirements

To be considered for our Apprenticeship, you should have, or be working towards, a minimum of 4 GCSEs grades A*- C (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate your desire to work in a hands-on role within a professional working environment.

Our Apprenticeship programme starts in September, when all successful candidates are expected to begin employment with us. Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to commencement of the programme.

All Millbrook employees must be willing to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and SC level security clearance may be required for some roles within restricted departments.

The Recruitment Process

For your awareness, our recruitment process for our 2017 Apprentice cohort is as follows. Candidates will be updated on their progress via telephone and/or email.

1. Application Window - until 26th March

2. Online Testing - 21st March - 2nd April

3. Assessment Centre - 12th or 18th April

4. Start Date - Monday 4th September
