Job Summary

Reporting to – Maintenance Manager

Planned & Reactive maintenance in all aspects of electrical & mechanical services Plant & equipment

Role Responsibilities

  • Commercial & light Industrial plant equipment maintenance & repair
  • Planned & preventative maintenance to buildings & services including electrical distribution systems, fire alarm systems & emergency lighting.
  • Reactive maintenance & repair of buildings & services including full diagnostic fault finding to various electrical, control & mechanical systems.
  • Electrical & mechanical installations & renovations to current IET wiring regulations
  • Call Out roster
  • Risk assessments & method statements
  • Adhere to Cultural behaviours for Millbrook staff at all times
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations

 

Criteria

Qualifications

  • Accredited apprenticeship in electrical maintenance
  • Current IET Wiring regulations certificate 17th edition
  • City & Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 ( 2357 Combined City & Guilds & NVQ) BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • MEWP – IPAF
  • Inspection & Testing Qualification
  • PAT Testing Qualification

Experience

  • 5 Year’s in commercial & light industrial electrical plant maintenance including 3 phase systems
  • Working within a Team Environment
  • Commercial electrical Installation
  • Working with control systems & BMS

Skills

  • Electrical Skills
  • H & S knowledge Including filling out risk assessment’s
  • BMS & Control system knowledge
  • Basic IT Skills

Other Information

  • Entre into a paid stand by call out rota system & attend site in accordance with the call out procedure
  • Working weekends or out of normal hours as required
  • Able to travel
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • UK Nation with residency in the UK for the last 5 Years
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required
  • Full UK driving licence
  • SC clearance or ability to achieve this (UK national with residency in the UK for the last 5 years)
  • Willing to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check
