With its combination of high speed
tracks, hills and emissions laboratories
Millbrook is an ideal location for
powertrain testing and validation. Our
unique hill routes, ranging from a 1km 7%
grade to 21% and 26% grades, enables loading
conditions to be sustained for extended
periods. With a range of curves from
cambered bends to hairpin corners, the
powertrain is subjected to lateral
accelerations and differential loading. A
continuous high-speed environment is
provided by the 3.2 kilometre high /
constant speed circuit
For applying additional realistic and
repeatable loads into the whole powertrain,
special features within the tracks are
designed to input shock loading and low
frequency high peak torque loading.
