Millbrook is seeking to incorporate skills from undergraduate students to fill these demanding and varied positions, within a busy event management environment.
Reporting to the Event Operations Manager, the successful candidates will support the Event Management team in the planning and delivery of customer events and, ultimately, will take the responsibility for running their own events. This will involve initial discussions with the customer, creating proposals, selecting and briefing relevant suppliers (external staff, AV, florists, caterers, etc.) and, finally, running the event to exceed the customer’s expectations. This will require a number of key skills ranging from relationship management to management of staff and all documentation, from the initial enquiry, through to the final invoice.

You will also get involved with recruiting your replacement for the following year, which is an invaluable experience to further your curriculum vitae and interview technique, as it will give you an insight into the way that candidates are selected for employment.
