Job Summary

Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Vehicle Group and Commercial Team are working closely together and have a joint understanding of the strategy to provide excellent customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to develop a good technical understanding of the Vehicle Group capabilities and be able to interpret technical enquiries and procedures into commercial offerings which can be understood by both commercial and technical stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supporting and delivering the quote process from within the Vehicle Group
  • Interpretation of customer requirements or procedures
  • Collation of technical information to produce quotations
  • Increase the percentage of quotations which convert to order book
  • Support achieving revenue forecast within the Vehicle Group
  • Build coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets
  • Provide commercial support to the Vehicle Group
  • Provide technical support to the Commercial Team
  • Able to act as point of contact for customer technical questions
  • Act in accordance with the behaviours for Millbrook staff at all times

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • GCSE or A Levels to include business and technology related subjects
  • Minimum grade 4 (or ‘C’) in English and Mathematics

Experience

  • Preferable but, not essential: test experience in one or more disciplines relevant to the Vehicle Group
  • Preferable but, not essential: sales/business development experience within automotive or transport sector
